Coronavirus will place the greatest strain on families who are already vulnerable, including those isolated, facing financial hardship and mental health challenges.
While we’re unable to support families in their homes during this difficult time, we have adapted our work to stay connected with families by phone, email and through our website and social media accounts. All of which are being regularly monitored and messages being responded to.
Increasingly families’ needs are changing. Our priority is to respond to those very local and urgent needs by staying in contact with them, listening to their challenges and worries. We’re connecting the most vulnerable to further hardship support and vital services such as food banks and advice agencies.
We all know this is a very difficult time for families and maintaining remote support will be important for many.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your support.
