About Us

Home-Start Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow is a family charity whose mission is to give a supportive start to struggling families with children in those critical early years under the age of 5.

Through the home-visiting work of our volunteers we offer emotional and practical support to parents, guiding them through and building their resilience to the demands and stresses that parenting brings. Ultimately helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown. You can read further information about getting support from us here.

Our volunteers are at the very heart of what we do, and being parents themselves, understand the stresses. Once matched with a suitable family they visit weekly and offer support tailored to meet the needs of the family, enabling the parents to confidently manage family life. If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, visit our Volunteer page here.

Zumbathon Fundraising Event – January 2019

Dance to great music, with our great supporters, and burn off any unwanted Christmas calories (or just enjoy the music and exercise) at our Zumbathon fundraising event on Saturday 26 January 2019, 11.30 – 14.30!

The event will be held at St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 130 St Margaret’s Road, St Margarets TW1 1RL, and will be just like any Zumba class you attend and love, but with the proceeds benefiting Home-Start Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow.

The certified instructor, Stefania Sarafi, will lead the session, along with other instructors from her Zumba network.

So, grab your friends, your favourite workout gear, and join us for a fun-filled few hours.

Tickets can be purchased here and are £10 per person.
